  What do I need to purchase a long gun (Rifle)?  

 To purchase a long gun in Texas, you will need to be at least 18 years old. You will need government-issued picture identification   to confirm identity and government-issued identification/documentation that confirms your current address. A valid driver’s   license with your current address will satisfy both requirements. You must possess either a valid Texas LTC (License to Carry) or   pass the required criminal background check.  

  What do I need to purchase a Pistol/Handgun? 

 To purchase a Pistol/Handgun in Texas, you will need to be at least 21 years old. You will need government-issued picture   identification to confirm identity and government-issued identification/documentation that confirms your current address. A valid   driver’s license with your current address will satisfy both requirements. You must possess either a valid Texas LTC (License to   Carry) or pass the required criminal background check.  

  Do You We Accept FFL Transfers?  

 We only accept inbound firearm transfer from licensed dealers.  

 Who can pick up my Firearm/NFA items?  

 Transfer is only for the person listed on the invoice of the delivered product. Customer must be a Texas resident with a valid   Texas driver’s license or identification card that shows their current address. You must possess either a valid Texas LTC (License   to Carry) or pass the required criminal background check before receiving your transfer. No one else will be able to come in and   pick the firearm up for you after a denial per ATF regulations.  Firearms and NFA item can only be picked up by the person listed   on the invoice. Customer must be a Texas resident with a valid Texas driver’s license or identification card that shows their   current address. You must possess either a valid Texas LTC (License to Carry) or pass the required criminal background check.   No one else will be able to come in and pick the firearm up for you after a denial per ATF regulations.  

  What’s our Transfer Fee?  

  W/LTC - $15 first firearm. Additional firearms are $5 each, maximum of 5 firearms per transfer  

  W/O LTC - $25 first firearm. Additional firearms are $10 each, maximum of 5 firearms per transfer  

  NFA Item - Transfer fee is $75 Each        

 NFA Items Transfer?  

 We are a Special Occupation Taxpayer (SOT), so we can accept NFA items (Dealer to Dealer).  Transfer fee is $75.

 Each Items below are considered an NFA item

 -Short-Barreled Shotguns (SBS): Shotguns with a barrel length of less than 18 inches or an overall length under 26 inches.  

 -Short-Barreled Rifles (SBR): Rifles with a barrel length shorter than 16 inches or an overall length under 26 inches  

 -Suppressors (Silencers): Devices that reduce the sound of firearm discharge.  

 

  How to get your first suppressor with us?  

  1.Talk to our team: Explore our extensive inventory to find the perfect suppressor, SBR, or other NFA items to suit your needs.  

  2.Complete your Silencer Shop profile: Head to our instore Silencer Shop Kiosk and follow steps for Creating a new account. Within 5 minutes your fingerprint scan and demographic information will be integrated into your Silencer Shop app. Snap a selfie and upload it with the Silencer Shop app.     

  3.Sign the DocuSign: Silencer Shop will email a DocuSign to you. Please review and digitally sign the file from your computer or mobile device.  

 4.Create an ATF eForms account: Set up your ATF eForms account at eforms.atf.gov. Make sure your email, name, and address match your Silencer Shop profile.  

  5.Certification & ATF Submissions: You’ll receive an email from Silencer Shop that says, “Ready to Certify” and includes the phone number of your local Powered by Silencer Shop dealer. Set up a time to certify and submit the form to the ATF for processing.

    Quick Tip: Customer Select Transfer Type in Silencer Shop & Customer Pay for Tax Stamp (In- store or in Silencer Shop)  

                       1st time customers can only certify in person with Alpha Defense shop. Preferred method for certifying is in-store 

                        for all recurring customers.

 Do You Offer Layaway?  

  Yes, we do offer layaway. Only available in store or through phone.  

 Layaway Terms & Conditions Layaway contract is thirty (30) days. New layaway contracts cannot be created if you have other   delinquent layaway contracts. The layaway program is only available to customers that reside in the United States of America.   You are required to make your first payment of 30 % the same day of purchase and is required to pay off within thirty (30) days   of your initial deposit. Your first payment is calculated at a rate of 30% of your current balance due. Any and all deposits are non-   refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable. If you do not pay the balance of your order in full within the thirty (30) days   hold period, you the buyer agree that the layaway contract is void and are not entitled to any refund on your initial deposit or any   subsequent payments applied to your balance. No partial takeouts are permitted. No price adjustments are allowed on   clearance sale, or special-order items. Buyers can get a full refund of in store credit for all monies paid if the order is canceled   within seven (7) days of your initial deposit. Any product adjustments are subject to approval; we reserve the right to deny any   product adjustments.

 IMPORTANT things you need to know:  

 You must be a Texas resident to pick up handguns, rifles, shotguns, receivers, frames, handguns, NFA. The address on your ID MUST be current. For transfers that are not picked up within 30 days of date, there will   be a monthly storage fee of $10 for each firearm. Firearms that have exceeded 365 days or one year in storage will become legal   property of Alpha Defense with no recourse to the consumer.
